Partnership Proposal

WE SUPPORT EARLY-STAGE IMPACT STARTUPS WHO HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO CHANGE THE WORLD - AT SCALE.
Revolutionary ideas, relentless optimism, an energy that only founders can bring.
They measure success in problems fixed - whatever their chosen fight: social equity, kilos of carbon, serotonin.
Unrest will be the global platform to launch the most successful of them.

From our alumni...
Nothing can change the world as fast as a brand.
So imagine what hundreds can do, unleashed on society and its biggest problems.
We help founders start companies that pay their way forward from the get-go. Launch brands that are genuine, built on the right moral framework. Grow organisations that are both profitable and impactful.
During their 16-week residency, founders work closely with our award-winning brand partner Uncommon Creative Studio. Together they develop premium, mission-driven brands capable of building trust in consumers’ minds from day 1.
Uncommon develops and delivers a fully-fledged brand book to every cohort member, including strategy, tone of voice, brand identity and market implementation. Here are some before-and-after branding examples from our alumni.

FUTURE GREENS / Agritech
GANDEE / Marketplace

We back diverse founders
Solving the world’s problems most effectively requires diversity of thought. This principle is a core tenet of our sourcing strategy when deciding which founders to support. To date:
72% of our cohort companies have at least one female founder;
48% of companies are founded by immigrants; and
10% are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Unrest was founded to accelerate the next generation of purposeful businesses. Working with industry-leading organisations such as B Corp, The Future Kind Collective and Mission Ventures, we help founders identify, measure and communicate their start-up’s impact.
-
We partner with Europe’s leading brand agency, Uncommon Creative Studios - 4x winner of Campaign’s Creative Agency of the Year.
Founders work on a 1-2-1 basis with Uncommon’s strategy team to refine their brand message and build a world-class brand book, which includes creation of multi-format design and copywriting assets.
Research-driven, design-led branding costs tens of thousands of pounds. We offer impact startups a unique opportunity to build premium, mission-driven brands that instantly inspire trust with consumers and investors alike.
-
We guide founders through the full fundraising process - from start to finish.
At the end of the programme founders know how to identify and approach the right investors, communicate a compelling message and manage relationships. They’ll know what’s essential in their pitch deck, data room and legals.
We also run weekly pitching roundtables and Dragons’ Den style sessions with guest investors. Founders have the chance to refine pitch and public speaking skills, and receive direct feedback from active B2C and impact investors.
-
We believe being part of a strong founder community can act as a catalyst for startup success.
We regularly host events for impact founders, investors and the wider impact ecosystem. This enables founders to build important relationships from the get-go and get immediate feedback on their initiatives, refining their strategies in real-time through input from experts and peers.
