Mishcon de Reya x Unrest
powered by Impact
Unrest and Mishcon de Reya are natural partners, united by a shared belief in the power of purpose-led business to drive meaningful change. Both organisations are deeply committed to supporting impact-driven founders and creating a more equitable, sustainable future.
By partnering together, we can demystify legal services for early-stage entrepreneurs—making expert legal guidance more accessible and showcasing the value of a strong, trusted lawyer relationship from day one.
Mishcon’s deep understanding of risk and its commitment to empowering clients complements Unrest’s mission to build the confidence and capability of founders tackling the world’s biggest challenges. Together, we can remove barriers, unlock potential, and help shape ventures that not only grow, but grow responsibly.
Getting started with a co-hosted event
We believe the best partnerships grow over time, starting with a shared focus and a willingness to learn together. By starting with the event outlined below, we can build trust, demonstrate impact, and lay the foundation for a long-term, values-aligned collaboration.
Unrest events are carefully designed to challenge the status quo; bringing together diverse founders and investors to discuss real, unfiltered topics that matter.
We propose that we co-host an event at the Unrest office that entertains and engages clients of the Mishcon de Reya Private Wealth & Capital team, established impact founders from the wider Unrest network, and investors/VC’s from the Unrest impact network.
Event topic: TBC
Suggested topic: What does it mean to invest in Impact? (tailored to Private Wealth clients)
Other examples of Unrest events include: Urban Cities, Ladies Who Launch, Lessons I Wish I’d Learned Earlier In My Journey.
Location: Unrest office
Suggested date: September 2025
Size: 50+ (100 max capacity)
Investment: £5,000 (As indicated in our previous proposal, the standard price for this is £15,00. We are happy to offer this substantially cheaper in this instance to build a long term partnership.)
A long-term partnership
To help us move forward into a long-term, values-aligned partnership, we have created a 12-month schedule below that will allow us to truly serve the consumer impact community together and support Mishcon de Reya’s ROI in the startup ecosystem across the three R’s: Revenue, Retention, and Reputation.

Example sponsorship results
1. Outperformed on Lead Target by 406%
For one of our sponsors, we exceeded conversion targets by 406%, thanks to a strategic approach tailored to founders' purchase journeys. This success was driven by three custom email flows designed to address the unique needs of different user segments. For new users, we crafted onboarding flows that highlighted the value of sponsor’s services, building trust and encouraging first-time conversions. For existing users, we focused on upselling by showcasing premium offerings and advanced features that aligned with their growth goals.
2. Conversion Targets Reached in One Single Email
We successfully reached one sponsor’s targets with a single, impactful email campaign. This campaign was strategically timed to maximise engagement and highlighted four key benefits and applications of their services for startup founders. By tailoring the message to address the specific needs and interests of the IIOH applicants, the email achieved exceptional resonance. The response was highly positive, reaching the lead target within just a few hours of release.
3. Hundreds of Custom Data Insights Unlocked
IIOH unlocked hundreds of valuable data points for our sponsors, offering deep insights into the startup ecosystem. Through the application process for IIOH, founders provided detailed responses on topics such as business stage, amounts raised to date, and more. Sponsors gained access to this rich data set, tailored to their specific package. Notably, our headline sponsor leveraged the opportunity to ask a series of custom questions to all 399 applicants, gathering precise insights into user behaviour, purchase patterns, and competitor dynamics.
We back diverse founders
Solving the world’s problems most effectively requires diversity of thought. This principle is a core tenet of our sourcing strategy when deciding which founders to support. To date:
72% of our cohort companies have at least one female founder;
48% of companies are founded by immigrants; and
10% are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
